Cosmetic tattoo (also called permanent makeup or micropigmentation) is a cosmetic procedure used to improve or replace lost colouring on the skin. It can mimic eyeliner and lipstick, or it can darken and create the look of thicker eyebrows performed with the use of a needle that applies pigment beneath the upper layer of the skin to enhance the natural colour or add a desired pigment to skin areas.
